Yonaka and Don Broco @ O2 Academy Leeds 17.02.18

Don Broco at O2 Academy Leeds
The second gig me and Lizzie went to in our Weekend O' fun was my current obsession, Donny B. Don Broco just dropped third album Technology, and I loved all the songs on there, so I was Hyped Up for this gig. And I was right to be excited- it was such a good night.

Army Of Freshmen, THE AQUABATS! and Bowling for Soup @ Manchester Apollo, 16.02.18

The Aquabats at Manchester Apollo 2018

Hey guys! It's been a minute since I blogged about a gig I've been to, but no time like the present, eh? So my sister came up North for the weekend and we managed to catch two gigs- we caught Donny B at Leeds, and saw Army of Freshmen, The Aquabats! and Bowling for soup at Manchester Apollo. It's a really nice venue, which used to be a theatre so it has a sloping floor like O2 academy Brixton.

I think this review  might annoy some people, but I'm just going to come out and say it: although Army of Freshmen and The Aquabats were really great and I'm soooo pleased I went, Bowling for Soup were disappointing.

February 2018 current favourites flatlay including CD plants and makeup products
We're already halfway through February. What. Get to the actual panic stations, people, because Amy is not ready for this. But aside from panicking about uni, a lot, I've been drinking a loot of tea and a loot of coffee, and listening to my faves a lot too. So here they are, the things I've been loving in 2018:

flatlay of Asian cosmetics and plants featuring Dolly Wink, Kosé, Skinfood, GEO

After I finished my January exams, I did a cheeky yesstyle order to treat myself, and it finally arrived the other day! I picked up a couple of my ride or die products, as well as some circle lenses and lower lashes to try out!

Leeds haul// Topshop and village and vintage clothes

silver haired girl wearing sukajan, beret, fishnets and DMs

I've been doing tonnes of shopping lately (someone tell me to stop omg) and the other day I hit up Topshop for the first time in ages. Plus, I went to the amazing magazine/specialist bookshop Village and I also picked up some cute things from Retro Boutique and, surprisingly, Sainsburys.

L'Oreal colorista washout in lilac review and before and after// 2018 re-review

L'oreal colorista washout in lilac dip dye ends
About a year ago I bought the L'Oreal colorista washout dye in lilac- the shades they have on offer are gorgeous and the advertising campaign and packaging were great too. Also, some of my fave bloggers like Flamcis and Ellen Vlora were featured on the campaign!! I reviewed it a year ago, but I still had some left, so I thought I'd use it again and re-review it.

Pinafore, Souvenir Jacket and Dr Martens OOTD

Pinafore outfit with Dr MartensWe a proper Leeds day the other day- we walked all over town and went to North Star for coffee! Perfect. And whilst we were passing the "Welcome to Leeds" mural, I got some cheeky outfit pictures and I'm pretty happy with them! I'm a teeny bit obsessed with Leeds, so this is the perfect location for me.

Empties post 9// Bleach London, Lush, The Ordinary

empty beauty products including Lush Bleach London The Ordinary
I missed a couple of months worth of empties, so this post is long overdue... and also just long, period. I'm pretty sad to see some of these things go, actually, because some of them were amazing and also some of them were pretty luxe for me.

2018 New years' resolutions and blogging goals

flatlay of plant, headphones, camera, book and a cup of tea

Ok, how is it February already? I'm sure you guys have read a million of these posts, but personally I think they're pretty useful for accountability so here goes: my 2017 resolutions and blogging goals reviewed, and what I want to try and do this year. I'm trying to keep it achievable for 2018, so I have some pretty basic goals. Fingers crossed I'll actually achieve most of them, too!
