Empties #13// My skincare routine and staple products// Bleach London, Toni & Guy, Simple etc.

flatlay of empty beauty products

So this month's empties is randomly full to bursting with some of my favourite products! I've moved back down from Leeds and ended up with a lot of duplicates of things like skincare and haircare essentials. But. I've managed to use up/ condense a lot of my favourites, so it's empties time.

Toni & Guy Damage Repair mask// Love love loove this hair mask- I've bought it about 4 or 5 times now, and it's basically perfect for my hair. I use this  or the Bleach Reincarnation mask instead of a conditioner most times I wash my hair. If you've got bleached hair I can't recommend this more- and it's often on sale for like £4!
flatlay of empty beauty productsSimple Kind to Skin Cleanser// I'm not a huge fan of foaming cleansers, and this cream one is pretty cheap and seems to agree with my skin so I'm sticking with it. I've actually lost count of how many times I've bought this. I really trust Simple with skincare, so all my essential skincare routine- cleanser toner moisturiser- along with my eye cream and clay mask are from Simple. Also Boots often has Simple on 3 for 2, which helps!

Simple Soothing Facial Toner// another Simple product I use every day is the facial toner- it is cooling and nice and everything a toner should be, while also being pretty affordable.

Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Moisturiser// Another staple in my skincare routine, I feel like this moisturiser never lets me down. I've got a couple of others- from Clinique and The Ordinary, but this is the one I tend to use every day as it's great value and doesn't tend to break my skin out. The other two are more 'special occasions' moisturisers.

Vaseline Lip Therapy Original// I use Vaseline every day- it's so moisturising and makes my lips feel really nice and smooth. I have a tin on me at all times. Although it's not as convenient as lip balm in a stick, I haven't really found anything that beats vaseline in terms of price and moisturising power.
Bleach London Silver Shampoo and Olaplex no 3 on a tiled floor
Bleach London Silver Shampoo// A solid favourite of mine for like... 5 years? I think this is the fifth or sixth one I've bought. It's really pigmented and I love the bluer purple shade. I've written about this a lot over the years. I tend to use it mixed with another clear shampoo, as I like the use it every time I wash my hair (you probably should just use it every other time). It smells great, has a great colour and price, buuut my only problem is that it doesn't lather too well, hence me mixing it.

Olaplex no. 3// I reviewed this a while ago, and while I do think it was good for me at the time (I had a hair nightmare where it got reallly dry quite a bit broke- ughhhhhh) I probably wouldn't get this again? I was recommended to just stick with the 1 and 2 'plex' things that mix in with bleach for example Bleach London's Alex-plex, and skip no.3 as it's more of a deep conditioner. (Thank you so much for the recommendation and info ♡).  Olaplex no. 3 review- is it worth the money?

L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask// I bought this on recommendation from a friend, and although I do think it's good, it's a little more expensive than my usual Boots essentials clay mask. I did like it but I've got another clay mask I'm using right now, so I'm not dying to get this specific one again.

Waitrose Jasmine and Peony Body Wash// This is sooo nice in a bath- it foams really nicely and the perfume is gorgeous too.

M and S Ragdale Hall spa body wash// I got this for Christmas, and it smelled divine. Not much else to say really :)

Tresemmé colour protect conditioner// I dyed my hair pastel again, so I used up the last of this conditioner to dilute the colour. This conditioner isn't bad and it's pretty cheap, so I tend to keep repurchasing it for dying my hair. Of course, I cut it open to get the last teeny bit out as usual.

Topshop lipstick// I loved this coral orangey shade of lipstick- I picked it up in the sale a few years ago for only £2, and I've used it quite a lot! It's been discontinued now sadly.

Barry M nail varnish in Ruby Slipper// I loved this nail varnish- Barry M never lets you down. This was a present (thank you!♡) and I loved it so much that I used the whole thing up, which doesn't happen too much for me! Sad to see this go though, it was so lovely!

Thanks for reading! At the moment I'm trying to cut down beauty stuff to just the bare minimum, so I've used up a lot of things lately. It's so satisfying~
'Til next time!
