The day after Tokyo, I had a meeting at Uni (with my Leeds teacher who came all the way to Japan to check on us!)
So I decided that after the meeting was over, I could meet up with my family in my beloved Osaka.
We met in Dotonbori, on Ebisubashi near Glico Man. Seems like a dumb place to meet because it's busy, but I've always managed to find people somehow (The fact that I'm a tall blonde Gaijin probably helps). I chose there because my family didn't have internet and I needed somewhere easy to meet up.
They had Takoyaki (an Osaka must) and wandered around Dotombori before I met them, and then I took them to the Game centre and did a quick bit of shopping with Lizzie before we had Okonomiyaki (another Osaka must) at Fugetsu. After that, we headed to Umeda and me and Lizzie had a go on the Hep Five Ferris wheel~ The view was great, but unfortunately my pictures are a bit lacklustre... forgive me? Anyway, I'd definitely reccommend the Hep 5 ferris wheel or the Umeda Sky building if you have the chance ^^
